WebDec 18, 2024 · It's interesting for sure. All the unhappy people in my fortresses are exclusively children. Everytime and there is no toy shortage and they litter them everywhere. They also don't do chores. It seems like that a single instance of seeing a corpse, ghost, monster or fighting will ruin them. Kinda checks out but is also kinda annoying. The unhappiest guy despises loyalty and craves violence, both of which are pulling him down more then the others, everyone else is happy just from rooms, statues, dining room etc. I think it feels more like the personalities matter more here.
